The Hunt:  This is the first published Pineapple Man story and it was done in the ashcan format.  It is 32 pages with black & white art and an orange cardstock cover, published in 1994.  I've been told that it originally came out in two parts, but was not able to get my hands on them.  It's the story of how Pineapple Man got his shark-tooth club.  It starts off with Isamu running into a group of vampire hunters and ends up with him struggling to protect them from the subject of their hunt.
Pineapple Man #1:  The Marchers.  This comic is now selling for $100 at the official Pineapple Man website.  It's extremely hard to get now.  However, I got a signed copy at the San Diego Comic Con for cover price!  Of course, this was a few years back.  As with all the full-sized Pineapple Man comics, it's 32 pages with black & white art and a color cover.  This issue gives a lot of hints as to the connections between Isamu's transformations into Pineapple Man and the Hawaiian culture.  It gets your curiosity going.
Pineapple Man #2:  With a Prayer Part 1 of 2.  This comic introduced Luk Fun and also a grisly, viscous supernatural enemy.  For the first time, we see Isamu's transformation into Pineapple Man step by step.  If you know anything about Hawaii, you can appreciate this book on a whole different level because you'll be recognizing Chinaman's Hat, plate lunch and pig hunters.
Pineapple Man #3:  With a Prayer Part 2 of 2.  The beginning of this issue picks up where the cliffhanger ending in the last issue left you on the edge of your seat.  Pineapple Man finds himself up against a seemingly omnipotent foe and has to seek some unconventional assistance.  Again, Sam drops in a lot of "island" treats for us to recognize.
Pineapple Man #4:  Hawaiian Snow.  This comic was published in 1997 and transported Isamu into the near future of 2002.  In five years, the world had changed drastically and Hawaii is covered with snow as a result of a nuclear war.  While Isamu struggles to come to terms with his time travel and the loss of reality as he knew it, romance blossoms between him and an OTAR Psi agent.

The Pineapple Man graphic novel is in the works and scheduled to be published in September of 2015. In addition to the regular issues over the years, there have also been specials.
